State Career Development Conference Date: Friday, February 12 to Sunday, February 14, 2010 Location: McCamly Plaza Hotel in downtown Battle Creek (Click the link to the left to go to the registration page) Registration: Students will be able to register on-line starting December 16th. The Registration Fee includes: Conference fee, two night quad lodging on site, Officer/Alumni reception, light breakfast on Saturday, entertainment Saturday evening, and Sunday Awards Brunch. Competitive Events Updates for 2009–2010
Delta Epsilon Chi will offer a new event beginning in 2009–2010–Web Site Design is a prepared presentation event. The Internet Marketing case study event will no longer be offered. Written Event Checklists have been modified. Closely review the updated checklists before submitting any written entry for a prepared presentation event. We will offer the following State Events with details available on the website mid December. 1. Executive Job Interview will be updated and new guidelines will be available shortly. 2. Visual Merchandising will be available as an open walk up event. No prior registration will be necessary to complete in this event. 3. Culinary Arts Competitive Event Decision Making, winners of this event will be able to attend ICDC in the Culinary Management Institute. 4. Criminal Law & Procedure Competitive Event Decision Making, winners of this event may choose to attend ICDC in the Management Institute. A Proposal for a name change for the organization that came out of the last SAM conference is availiable in the downloads section of our website for your review. We are supporting this proposal and will be bringing this for a vote at the State CDC in February. |
